911DavisWeb WebTools Demonstration project

Good afternoon, lets get this project started.

1. Before we meet, it would be good for you to have http://Gmail.com account/s registered, ready, if possible. We will test IM chat, multichat, and video/call if we have mics/cameras.

Gmail Email, you do not need to use it, or can redirect it to your old account, or redirect your old account to Gmail. Gmail is a very good and very important tool. Also not simple.

Gmail/Goolge account allows you to use Google docs, Google groups, and a whole lot of other great, free services.

Send an email from your new account. Say hi.

Once online and ready to chat, DO NOT feel obliged to answer or participate, say shortly you don’t have time, if you don’t ..

2. Sign up also to http://Friendfeed.com. Small site, but liked by tech people. First in the world with real time updates.
Great aggregation and conversation tool. You can also blog rudimentarily. It is a microblog.
We will test, will join our groups, test conversing, managing groups and settings.

Please keep your sign up names obvious, easy, memorable, the same all over if possible, name.last name if you dont need to cover, <name>911 if you better.

Sign up with your /new/ Gmail accounts. You wont regret it.

Keep passwords unified, simple, yet hard to guess. Do not worry too much, though.

Join our project http://FriendFeed.com/911DavisWeb group. Say hi from there if you make it over there. :]

3. Sign up to http://Nexo.com
It is very handy small social sites. lots of features. will demonstrate.

4. Sign up to Twitter.
Just because its the biggest one, Richard Gage is on it too. http://Twitter.com/AE911Truth

Say hello world from your new account , or some statement to our topic

Twitter is a world wide phenomenon, a microblog. .. and no, Jack, we wont blog what hamburger we just had :] … it be about 9/11 .. :]

During demosntartions, do interrupt me often, ask pertinent questions. It is not a monologue.

Think about what blogs you will have, names.
